Project Overview and Technical Scope:
Utilities Dynamics was the turnkey provider of energy efficient lighting services for Kentucky State University in Frankfort, KY. UDI designed, developed and implemented energy efficient lighting strategies within their entire facility, consisting of 26 separate buildings. Electricity energy spend on lighting was reduced by 60%. A total of 750,000 watts and 3,237,531 kWhr was permanently reduced from the lighting load by retrofitting or replacing a total of 11,500 lighting fixtures. Total construction time for installation was less than 4 months.
- Development of lighting proposal and scopes of work. Visit approved sites and collect detailed site information on existing lighting systems. Develop design criterion and scopes of work. Review scope development with KSU for approval to proceed.
