Project Overview and Technical Scope:
Utilities Dynamics was hired by Washington Mutual Bank & BTE-Emcor to develop and implement energy efficient lighting strategies within their facilities. Washington Mutual’s goal was to reduce overall energy consumption within their facilities by 10% for 2002 and an additional 10% by the year 2004. Another goal of the bank was to contract with women owned contractors for 30% of the total contract amount. Utilities Dynamics was one of two approved contractors that met this requirement for their on-going energy reduction program.
- Utility rebate coordination
- Development of scopes of work. Visit approved sites and collect detailed site information on existing lighting systems. Develop design criteria’s and scopes of work. Review scope development with WAMU/EMCOR for approval to proceed.
- Reporting information via web based database.
- Project Management
- Material procurement and scheduling of assigned crews.
- Labor/installation of site approved recommendations.
- Coordination of lamp and ballasts recycling.
- Post installation walkthroughs and commissioning.
